HOW TO BUY:  Online shopping is available for wine, olive oil, and glassware. As always, you may contact us by phone or e-mail to order wine.

  • If you don't see a wine or vintage you want, please contact us to see if it can be special ordered
  • You must be at least 21 years of age to order or receive alcoholic beverages. By ordering, you certify you are of age.
  • We accept payment by check, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. You may apply a gift card as full or partial payment for your purchase.
  • Refunds will be credited to the payment option you used for the purchase.

PRICING:  Prices are subject to change without notice. Liner & Elsen is not responsible for pricing errors that may occur on our website or in other offers.

AVAILABILITY:  Once we receive your inquiry or online order, we will check price, quantity and availability.

ORDERS AND PAYMENT: When you order online, you will be charged when the price, quantity and availability are confirmed. We will notify you when payment is received. If necessary, shipment of your paid order may be held for future delivery (see "Delays").

RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS:  Current vintages: If you cancel an order that has already been confirmed and received by us, a 15% restocking fee may apply. Returns will not be accepted unless the wine is corked or flawed; once the wine has been held by you for 30 days or longer, we cannot accept returns for any reason. Older vintages: Wine is sold as is, and returns cannot be credited.

PRE-ARRIVAL ORDERS / FUTURES: Pre-Arrivals are wines that have been offered to us by wineries or suppliers before they are released on the market. These wines may be in very high demand and available in limited amounts, or may be offered at very good prices. When offered in our online store, all pre-arrival orders must be fully pre-paid. Purchase guarantees eventual receipt of the wine, but we cannot guarantee arrival date.


For most of our wines, we offer case discounts:

  • Mixed cases — 10% off retail price
  • Full cases — Same as mixed cases, plus an additional 5% off retail price.
  • Wines in our current newsletter are already shown at a pre-discounted price, so they are not eligible for the additional 5% off.


WINE:  Wine shipping is governed by state law. If you are unsure whether we can ship to you, please contact us. If outside shipments are not allowed in your state, you may wish to provide an alternative shipping address in a legal state, or the address of a third-party storage facility.

Where we ship:

Shipping to states marked with an asterisk (*) requires us to use an intermediary shipper. This may result in a slightly longer delivery time and some additional cost.

BEER:  We regret, but Oregon law prohibits the shipment of beer.

: If we delay shipping due to bad weather between Oregon and your location, we will cellar your paid order at no additional charge until we can ship to you. If you instruct us to ship your wine regardless of our policy, we will not replace damaged wine.

Shipping Advisory: Extreme temperatures can damage your wine in shipment! We monitor weather daily and will hold your order free of charge until the weather permits safe shipment of wine. If your order is time sensitive, please contact us to discuss express shipping options.

HOW WE SHIP:  We will provide shipping costs at the time you order your wine. An adult signature is required to deliver wine; shippers will not accept a "signature on file" order. Shippers will not accept postal box addresses, and they will not leave your shipment at the door or with a neighbor. We recommend that you ship to a business address whenever possible. The U.S. Post Office does not ship wine.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS: Contact us for international shipping charges. Every country has different taxes, customs and tariffs that you may have to pay. We are not responsible for additional charges that may be added to your order. We advise you to check with the destination country's local shipping officials regarding taxes or custom charges that must be paid before your order is released.

For your safety and ours, we've ended in-store shopping until further notice.

Shipping, local delivery, and curbside pickup in our parking lot will continue to be available.

Due to limited supply and occasional shortages at this time, some items that appear in our online store may not be available.

We will contact you if there’s a problem: you won’t be charged for your order until we’ve confirmed all items.

When you log in to your account on our web store, you can see your shopping cart from any computer, track purchases, and review shipments.

How will you confirm my order?
We review all orders for availability, and will confirm your order when it is processed. If you required shipping, we will also notify you when your order is sent.

When will I be charged for my order?
Orders are charged when price, quantity and availability are confirmed. We will notify you when payment is received.

I need to cancel or change an order
To cancel or change your order, contact us. Your payment balance will be refunded. If your order has already been confirmed and received by us, a restocking fee may apply.

IN-STORE PICK UP: Can I pick up my order at Liner & Elsen?
Yes! Just select the "Pick Up At: Liner & Elsen" shipping option when you add items to your cart. You can even specify your expected pick up date. We will confirm your order and send you a message that it's ready.

Can I search your inventory?
Yes, links to our inventory are available on the top of each page of our website. Search now

Can you special order a wine that's not in the inventory?
Yes, if you don't see a wine or vintage you want, please contact us, and we will try to special order it for you.

Can I use L&E Gift Cards in the online store?
Our traditional gift cards cannot be used online, but are always redeemable in-store or by contacting us. Online Gift Certificates are available online and can be used in our web store. Purchase gift certificates for online use.
