The Mâconnais is generally considered the beating heart of Burgundy’s Chardonnay country. There are more than 50 villages in the hills to the west of Mâcon where Chardonnay is the dominant produce, but Pinot Noir exists as an occasional treat. So does Gamay, which spills over the line from Beaujolais to the south.

Bright, bouncy, fresh and spicy. This Gamay has all the bright red fruit a Gamay should thanks to a little bit of carbonic fermentation, and a delicious pepper spice strand thrilling through the finish.
