Remi Desmaris is a young winemaker who inherited his family domaine in 2016. Based in the Maconnais village of Peronne, the domaine is organically farmed, with a mix of middle aged (1990) and ancient (1935) vines. This wine shows brilliant energy and focus that makes us excited for the future of this domaine.

Nose of orange zest and lime juice, pure limestone dust, sage and bay leaf, and a whiff of salty cheese. Palate of tangerine and peach, lemon oil, waves of fruit on fin, with hints of salt and three dimensional minerality. Good weight and viscosity with a fruity finish touched with salinity.
