This rose Qvevri wine is made from the delicate jewel of western Georgia, Chkhaveri. With only a little bit of color in the skins, it took a full month on the skins to develop its deep rose color. The elegance and understated power of the wine points to Chkhaveri's status as a distant ancestor of Pinot Noir.
