Cowhorn was a pioneer of biodynamic viticulture in southern Oregon. Their wines remain singular expressions of the high elevation terroir of the Applegate Valley. This Syrah shows aromas of baking spice, black raspberry drop, dried herbs, pipe tobacco, leather. The palate is of relaxed raspberry and cherry, softly textured with approachable tannins and a linger of gravelly soil with allspice and cardamom.
