The Black Giac Mondeuse is made with native yeast and aged in neutral wood barrels to preserve the freshest sense of soil and grape. Ripe, expressive black cherries and strawberries on the nose, with touches of chalky stone, fennel, thyme, oregano, and coniferous forest floor in support. The texture is the full side of medium bodied, with notable tannins balanced against bright acidity.
