Blaufrankish by its Hungarian name, this wine from southwestern Hungary is a more delicate and aromatic version reminiscent of fine-grained Pinot Noir. The nose shows wild Maine blueberry, strawberry, and Moroccan Ras al Hanout spice. The palate is delicate and bright, with a touch of tannin and deep-set black and blue fruit mixed with black pepper.
