Phaunus's Palhete is a traditional blend of red and white varieties native to the Vinho Verde region. Vinhao lends spicy raspberry fruit, while the white Loureiro gives body, citrus notes, and plenty of zest. The wine presents as red, but it's as bright and crunchy as red wine gets.
